Old rocking chair info.. Chas Voit?

Any info as to time period on this one or about company? I couldn't find anything like it or any other furniture by voit. I found a Google article from early 1900s mentioned charles voit but it didn't give much info. There is a metal tag on back toward bottom that says " made by chas voit guaranteed upholstered furniture Brooklyn, N.Y." is Voit a company? Is there any value in this other than it being a really comfortable chair? Any info is greatly appreciated.

 

I think 1900 would be about right for the time frame. Unfortunately "brown" furniture isnt worth a lot these days. Wich is a shame as its SO much better than the Ikea crap the young-uns seem to prefer.

 

Charles Voit Furniture is listed in the 1904 Brooklyn City Directory at 36 Devoe Street. (Also lists that Mr. Devoe lives in Greenlawn, Long Island.) There are 3 other Voits operating furniture establishments as well.

 

Very early 20th century. Early teens to just post-WWI.
