Featured Ladies’ ring - 1920’s?

What do you think this is all about?

Sadly, my hands are way too big for it — it needs a more delicate finger!

 

id have guessed 1920s-30s as well. No markings? That must have been a big lady for it to even fit your pink ! My grandmas fingers were so tiny not even my mother,who has tiny fingers,could wear her rings.None of my nieces can wear moms rings either !

 

I can’t see any marking — but I am a newbie and really don’t know what I am looking for?

I assume it is platinum?
With 3 little diamonds + 2 little emeralds?
Or maybe glass??

 

Looks like it was die stamped,is it magnetic?

It could be platinum or it could be plated. It's pretty, but cannot tell if those are diamonds from the picture.

My ring finger is size 3.75 - please send any excess to me!

North Attleboro 1920s filigree, looks like. At least, all of the signed pieces I've ever found came from there. These pierced work pieces came in gold, platinum (I've heard) and costume. I've been known to hoard the costume bits! If the stones are foil-backed, i.e. have paint, it's costume. If not, it's a guessing game or time for a trip to the pawn shop. The style was popular before Deco came in and probably persisted into the 1930s. The rings came in decent sizes too; I have one (dime store costume of course) that my grandmother had but never wore that's a size 8 or so. Probably why she never wore it - too big.

The story is that my grandpa gave it to my grandma when my mom was born, in 1926. She was born in May, emerald is her birthstone. I will have to get it checked out!

It's very beautiful!
In this era, colored side stones were commonly synthetic, even though the center stone is diamond.
If there isn't a mark, it could be because the ring was sized down and the mark was lost. 1926 seems very appropriate for the style.
I think you need to clean it, it looks a little grungy in between the piercings.
If I had to guess, I would say diamonds, synthetic emerald and 14k white gold.
But take it to a jeweler to be sure.

Synthetic emeralds really weren't available until the late 1940's.

 

In this era the might have used plain old glass and occasionally did.
