5 feet tall carved African figurines.. help please

    Can anyone help with age, etc for these 5 feet tall carved figurines? They appear worn

    and old BWDIK? I can get more pics if you need anything specific. Thanks!!!

    This distinctive style of carving is done by the Nyamwezi people, of Tanzania. The carvings are usually seen in pairs, and feature the elongated legs and torso, with small round white eyes.

    The concept is probably based on images associated with the Nyamwezi ancestor cult practices, but these are late 20th century, contemporary. They have been popular items in the decorator trade for quite a few years. It seems like the more recent they are, the taller and thinner they get.
