I'm laughing. Tip: Search for the works of a French artist on google.fr. After finding what you can with Tous, click on Images and see what else you can find.

It's quite nice, Charlie. The artist's reach exceeds his grasp a bit but captures a lovely immediacy. Wonder if it isn't an earlier work. His other pieces are decorative landscapes with a stronger sense of place.

Charity shop find. Wasn’t sure what the marks were but it had some positive signs for gold. When I thought about it later it made sense, Red Sea diving hot spot. 18k.

Charlie, this provincial French museum seems to have a number of Delsart's paintings. You might want to contact them and see if they'll provide you with information on the artist. And 'spect their curator would be interested in seeing your work.

Think I might have missed it if I had never joined Antiquers, picking up lots of info here over the years, first piece of Egyptian gold I’ve ever found.

Anyone know when these little glass cab doggie cufflinks I found at goodwill today date from? 50's?

Thanks Johnny! Couldn't believe they ended up in the actual store and not filtered out for online sale. 3 bucks for the pair was too good to pass up!

Try looking at what's often called Essex Glass. Those were cheap, to say the least. I'd think 30s, too.
