    You have FAR more patience with this stuff than I do, PI, and I had to rebuild a Victorian writing-box from scratch once... :eek: But I couldn't do all this stuff...

    I do seem to have the patience ....
    Right now I'm working on a piece of Victorian beadwork that was one half of a tea cosy, I unpicked the wool and I'm stitching it down onto velvet now....
    Very fiddly :)

    Nice job, you were very lucky with the leather, for that age they normally are too far gone. Ready for another 200 years :)
