Looking for help getting info on this piece

    bottom has silver plate engraved into it. I think its a champagne bucket but very detailed hoping someone can help me identify it. Thank you.

    Welcome, Billy. Couple questions, 1) can you tell us about the pierced round but folded (?) piece that on top of the bucket in one of the pictures? I've never seen a champagne bucket with a cover. 2) can we see the marking on the bottom please?

    #1 is not a cover,it's the handle of the "bucket".

    No offense, Hollyblue, but I cannot figure out how that would work with what we can see of the handle in the other 2 pictures.

    Here is the bottom of it. The posting above looks very similar to my piece that piece is the handle I think you guys are referring to. Hope this helps. Thabk you guys. I don't see any other marks anywhere.
