Help With Signature - re-posting

Ok, I'll try this in the right section.
Trying to figure out the signature on this painting, hoping someone here can figure it out. The frame is by Peder Christian Damborg Denmark, not sure if the painting is original to the frame. The frame is 23 1/2" x 19 1/2", the painting is 17 3/4" x 14 1/4" and is done on a thin piece of wood. I think I see RD GORD, and then I think I see M for the 1st two letters.
Any information or thoughts appreciated.

thanks komokwa! Could be, the letters keep changing on me, I've been looking at this all day, will give it a try tomorrow.

I think that's an "E" after the "D". Findartinfo has a couple of records for an artist called Maria Gordeeva Ström, both views of Västerås in Sweden. I can't find any other mentions of her, though.

I'm seeing an M as the first letter and what looks like Gordon after.
