by golly, that is annoying!

It almost sounds like Toy Shop/Wooden Soldiers On Parade. I'm also thinking something isn't quite right with the comb mechanism.

 

Yep, I too was thinking there was a bit of Hitch in it's Get Along

 

Either the teeth are messed up or it's playing backwards. Can you try playing it the other way to see what it sounds like?

It sounds like some old German folk song that I KNOW I have heard in my childhood. - although I *think* there may two songs there, not just one.

 

It really sounds like two music boxes slightly out of sink until the hitch. Maybe it's 19th century stereo.

I recently read that when you get a song stuck in your head it is because your brain is in a neural loop, only thing that can stop it is ....another song or when your brain finally just stops playing it. So choose the song to replace it well
