Chinese Indonesian Dutch Colonial Wardrobe

Hi, I found this piece which is from the same location in Java as the teak vanity I recently posted about. This looks to me like a classic example to me of Dutch Colonial furniture. I was told it's from the Kalimantan area.

Can anyone help me with the age or style? I'm hoping it will help date the other piece. Thanks!

It doesn't look Dutch Colonial to me. And no Chinese influence. It looks like Northern European folk furniture.
It may have been made somewhere in Europe and taken to Kalimantan by country people who tried their luck there. It doesn't look very Dutch, but Belgium was once part of The Netherlands, and many north Germans went to Indonesia as well, because their culture and language were closely related to Dutch culture and language. Could even be Danish, or French provincial.
Sorry, that is a wide range, but it is a pretty generic folk or provincial style. There are buyers for this style, but it has no stylistic link to Asia.
