Just wanted to show you my finds today - and no paintings(!).
An old & smaller than most National cash register (that is surprisingly heavy- I saw it on a table & said to my friend/the manager "This is mine!" as I grabbed it & swung to put it in my cart...and it (and my arms) went straight to the floor like a ship dropping anchor! I start to laugh when I think about it, but my back is still sore - I think I pulled something - so I have to make myself stop laughing!)
A very cool bowling ball bar (with a unusual pump dispenser and large plastic container underneath- what would it serve with that?)
And a pair of mcm "space age" Lucite chairs - I know I've seen this style before & they are expensive, but they've lost their labels.
A good thing is with removing only 4 bolts underneath the body the seat comes off so I can change the upholstery so they'll look better & sell easier; any suggestions would be appreciated(!)
    Hope you like them!

The upholstery is original and appropriate to the chairs. I recommend you leave it. You can't improve upon it visually and buyers are always more interested in "original condition."

The bowling ball is very cool, looks like it could be bakelite

It is cool! I guess you'd put reg liquor in container & it pumps out 1 shot each time? Gonna have to put some water in it & see if it fills or over fills shot glass!

yes, would be a good idea to make sure the pump still works.

I have an old cash register from the 1920s. I found the exact date and all kinds of info on a form attached to the bottom of the drawer, take a look to see if there is one on yours :)

What an awesome group! The cash register, although having seen better days, has so much personality. Really cool. (Hope your back is better...)

I've seen the bowling ball decanters before... looks like Charlie posted a few links. Love that vintage kitschy stuff.

Agree with Debora to leave the fabric on those chairs. They were certainly part of a kitchen table set, but honestly could be used anywhere--living room, etc. Good keywords "smoke lucite" or "smoked lucite". Chromecraft-like.
