One off my oldest bought paintings

    Nice painting and signed and sold as a maybe:bag: by Kasimir Malevick . But probaly a copy but let me know what you think off it and are there similars somewhere on the internet like this ?

    I'd say no. It's based on the style, but I don't think it's his work. He used brighter colors, deeper imaging. This is too bland and flat for his work.

    I can't imagine this being by Kazimir Malevich. He was a suprematist and this is much too fussy.

    I have a difficult time seeing this as the 1930s. It looks to me more like a decorator piece from the '80s.

    Real canvas stretchers are not fastened at the corners. It's the tension on the canvas that holds them together.

    But as a copy in the style off there must be more to find I think ? And anybody has some examples of the used painters canvas in the thirties in Russia ?

    I'm in agreement with moreotherstuff. This very image looks familiar to me as something I've seen in shops and restaurants dating from the 80s.
