Newbie, Hello!

    Hello!
    Thanks for the welcome!
    I think the history of antiques is fascinating!
    My mother is from France. I was introduced to the beauty and workmanship of antiques when I was young. Only after I retired did and my mom told me stories about how my Grandmother , from Chalon sur Saone, picked out each piece. She had not much money but knew quality and this was the 1800's.
    I found my way here googling about a stamp on an antique.
