Beautiful Pressed Cut Glass

i do a lot of research on my bits and pieces before I come onto the boards and dont take peoples help for granted as I love talking to other folk that know what they are talking about anyway.Picked up this glass for less than 10 and couldnt resist so if anyone knows anything could they let me know.No markings and all showing movement wear to the bottom of each one any help as always appreciated thank you.

 

Lovely vase. At the moment I haven't any help for you. BTW, pressed glass and cut glass are 2 different things.

“Cut glass” is “American Brilliant cut glass” or “American Brilliant Period” (ABP) glass, and the “pressed” stuff is “Early American Pattern Glass” (EAPG).

Cut glass has sharper edges. Others may chime in on this piece.

So, aren't there two vases? The first looks squat and the second taller.

two different patterns. I initially thought just one. The engraving looks unpolished which is typical of giftware from eastern Europe since WW2.

 

If I were guessing I'd say Polish; the Poles did a lot of nice glasswork and probably still do.
