Storage find 2 vintage/antique rugs

I got 2 vintage/antique rugs.i know nothing about rugs.what kind of rugs, handmade,machine,Persian, Chinese.The first rug measure 128"x93".The secobd rug measure 129"x91"

 

Hard to see exactly what you have there, first one looks like it could be machine loomed, photos need to be more close up ...Second one looks like a good Persian rug and handmade, but again with your photos, just a guess.

 

I agree with Blooey on the first one. We need pictures of the underside of the second.

 

Rugs are still in my storage,I was cleaning out some items,we have a few good cooler days,but will try to get closeup.Thanks

 

I found a few pics in my computer.The underside of the second rug and a small close of the first rug.The first pic is of the first rug,the second is the underside of the second rug.

 

Oh dear. Hate to burst your bubble but it's not handknotted - machine made.

It may have been done in a western interpretation of a Persian design - but it's fairly new and unless there's tag I can't really say where it was made. (NOTE - It cannot have been made in "Persia" which area is now the country of Iran. A lot of the machine made rugs were/are made in Pakistan and India.) Yes, people do buy used machine made rugs, but unless they were made by a "big name maker" they don't go for anything like the "real thing."

Check out your local Craigslist or Offerup or even eBay to see if there's even a market in your area (Shipping would be a lot I suspect.)

Second one looks to be Indian, Pakistani or Afghan.
