I have a couple of pieces out of a "costume jewelry" lot just purchased that I believe are gold with diamond. I'll have them tested later today and will post images if things are positive. What type of diamond tester do you recommend I buy for around $100? Also, what type of gold testing kit?

Nuff the best kit is a good stone, gold acids and the testing needles. They come in 8,10,12,14,and 18K.

Some just rub the item on a block and put the acid on top,but the link is better if you have lots of jewelry and want a good reaction.
