Everyone has been to one of those auctions where everything is going cheap but anymore finding these online is not very easy. Well, I tried to get almost every piece of silver at a proxibid auction this morning. With that in mind, which of these do you consider the best value? No show stoppers here just cheap silver items

Wallace Romance of the Sea Meat Fork 8", 96 grams - $35

The salad set I believe is Royal Danish by International. I'm a bit partial to the Romance of the Sea pattern myself.

The pie wedge next to the other 2 pieces is not a match to the others (despite being included in the same lot.)

That's in the third picture - pie wedge on the left does not match the gravy ladle (center) and second wedge (on the right, could be pate or pie depending on size.) The grave and second wedge do match each other.

What markings appear on these 3 pieces?

No markings shown were shown, baker. Not the best info for this auction which is probably why this lot sold for the opening $10 bid. I told my wife that she should feel free to use these pieces, as well as the salad set. I usually hoard all of my silver (like many other things) Pretty sure that she would have no interest in the other pieces.

Well, I looked at both sterling and silverplate patterns for those 3 pieces and couldn't find a match. Given the uniformly dark color of the non-matching one, I would not be surprised to find out that it's stainless. The other 2 I'm not so sure about. Use them with impunity! If the 2 that match start to tarnish, you'll know better.

Were advertised as sterling handles but I will find out soon enough....

Any insight on the last berry spoon?

Well, the date letter looks like 1808, which would also match the crowned leopard (London) and the George III mark of the period. I looked for a script M as the first letter of the maker's mark, but haven't seen it, although my search was brief.
