True. It has been happening quite a lot lately.
Here is someone who bumped an old thread because she wanted to say something that had already been said twice in the same thread:

new members find this site in many different ways....old threads being a major one !!

you thank them for their posts ....point out it's an old thread, that they may not have read thru...........and you move on !

The threads where newbies ask to buy stuff....from 4 years ago.....or ask questions of the OP ,who was only here for a day...3 years ago.....
those need a little more explaining !

 

TY I’m familiar with boards that stop responses from old threads but encourage new threads to be started if needed.

IMO if everyone bumped old threads, new ones would fall way back and be ignored. I’m guilty of only looking at the first page but maybe that’s just me.

 

Oh....I miss some posts that way too !!
Now....with so many more active posters , I'll go 2 or 3 pages deep....& see I've missed a blade or brooch, or gun, or carving...( or caving )...

But for the most part...here...what needs to be talked about....bubbles up to the top !!

 

I know he was still very busy with his medical site, specifically for advise to cancer patients. He has a team that helps steer through the medical jungle and advise people on the kinds of treatments that are out there.
I don't know if he ever mentioned it on the forum, but he did in a pm.

 

I'll check the pm, it has a link to his site. If there is anything wrong, it'll say on the site.

 

His last news update on the medical site dates from june 8th. His shops are still online too, so I guess everything is ok.
