Cool postcards, I didn't know about that thread! I found a couple this week, I have to post them for you. The uke is fantastic!

A local dealer has a yard sale at her home around this time of year and around Christmas. I spent $90 today, but I think I did okay. She said people were breaking the doors down at 6 a.m. when her start time was 8 a.m., and I got there a little after 10 a.m.

    moonstone bracelet Carol (545x640).jpg
All the stones in the above sterling bracelet are rainbowy like the blue you see. Very overcast here. A few cracked stones, I don't care, for my personal wear.

Plastic necklace marked GERMANY on aluminum findings clasp. Love the green!

Plate of stuff: MOP cameo pemdant set in brass, maybe 800 silver trim; black MOP gold-plated angel cameo pendant/brooch; Alpaca earrings; sterling silver hoops, unmarked sterling turquoise brooch, Zuni?; sterling Mexico abalone red brooch; spider brooch; and Liztech artisan cat brooch. Google her!

Next batch is the scarab lot:

    The box of scarab jewelry
    Scarabs Box (640x429).jpg
The plate. All stones genuine, one larger GF bracelet needs repair. The smaller GF bracelet needs vintage clasps. Two goldtone bracelets, one with much wear, the other not bad. Gold-filled screwback earrings, gold-plated brooch. Scarabs Lot (640x583).jpg

The surprise nobody found- 14k slanted-setting scarab bracelet with clear quartz, bloodstone, carnelian, chyroprase, tiger's eye, and chalcedony. All links soldered closed. I have never seen a slanted setting. Needs one jump ring on the end. MINE!!!! Scarabs 14k Bracelet front (640x480).jpg

    Scarabs 14k Bracelet back (640x497).jpg

Citrine ring Victorian (640x480).jpg I also visited an antique mall yesterday that was having a sale with many vendors, 20 to 50% off. Found this mistake, $2, but was 30% off, so $1.40. Victorian rose gold citrine ring, not marked, 10k or 14k. Fits my pinky.

OOPS!!!! (as she runs out the door with it!) Score! Gold and citrine ring for a whopping $1.50 with the sales tax.

I've never seen one that was actually gold before, never mind the slanted setting. I did find a sterling one once, but it was damaged. The GF and real stone ones sell well.

That first stone and GF bracelet looks like rainbow moonstone, really white labradorite, from here. It has that blue butterfly wing-like coloring when you move it around in the light.

It’s not antique itself (1989) but I was very pleased to pick up this little book for $3 at an estate sale. Great descriptions of the architecture and history of each buildings. Address of each building is included for easy touring. : -) E4CC2527-F8C4-440D-A3FB-76DD90CB16CD.jpeg

    And nearly forgot these!
A kindly gentleman at an antiques fair gifted them to my daughters. Haven’t researched yet but German and flocked or felted.

@KSW - the blue is Davidson Pearline, I believe, possibly Prince William. Very collectible.

Cool, Thankyou. That’s saved me some legwork this evening trying to ID it!. I thought it was unusual when I saw it.
Thankyou. I find it hard to walk past quality leather boxes like this. It’s still got all the old collars in it.

I picked up a couple of very small bits of Pearline for literally pennies. Sold the two of them at auction for about 35 quid, so I was happy.
