    Hey Adrian and thanks!

Good to see you. It's been awhile.

Thanks for the info above. I'm sure these sword fittings at one point in their life were designed as a bracelet that fell apart similar to this: http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/6623113

The one menuki is marked verso with four impressed marks (it's upside down, sorry about that).

The other piece is signed at side in long-script.

I also have a pair of gilt-bronze menuki (water buffalo) that's been on my shelf for some time now.

This last pair (gilt-bronze) I had for a while as well. I misplaced my notes, but I did have them looked at by an Asian arts expert. His thoughts (if I recall correctly) were probably Chinese Mongol, Ming Dynasty. These are some of the smallest (1.9 cm) bronze figures that he and I both have ever seen. I've seen similar squatting figures in museums with their hands resting on their knees in larger ceramic form, but nothing like these.

Anyway, I am interested in selling the Japanese group, but not sure what to ask.

    Thanks Moon for that idea.

My thoughts were something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/WOW-HUGE-VI...t=Vintage_Costume_Jewelry&hash=item3ce9e06812 but I have no idea on how to insert more than 12 images.

I don't know. I still think you should break them up into slightly smaller lots....easier on the eyes for the customer not to have to be looking at a huge lot....if someone is at all ADD like me, they would prefer it that way. You might find you get more money that way, too!

You can insert as many pictures as you like in the text of the listing, hosting them somewhere online and linking them with the simple HTML tag < img src= the URL of the picture > and omitting the spaces. Oh, except between img and src.

    Thanks, AF!

All the years I've been on eBay, I never listed an item with this hosting feature. This is something I'm going to have to look into.

Here's another interesting piece that was pulled from that tin...

    SAME SELLER 006-001.JPG

I believe it's an Art Deco(?) period piece, 14KT gold with sapphires(?) and pearls.

This coin lot also came from the same seller. Got them for $30 plus a shoebox filled with junk sovereign spoons (not shown). The other item is an antique/vintage studded dog collar.

I also have vintage foreign (Asian & Israeli) paper currency and coins not shown.

A general picture of the bank notes would enable me to spot anything interesting.

These 2 items were internet purchases for $55 that were either mis-IDed and/or unresearched.

Both are Chinese, 18th/19th C. The first is a large copper-green glazed quatrefoil mouth rim washer, and the others are miniature prunus jars. Neither items are in-hand as of yet. Images are not my own. If you look closely at the jars, you'll notice the difference between these shown and other miniature prunus pieces you'll find in a Google image search.

Nuff. the notes are not a major score but not rubbish. The New Franc French notes look to be in reasonable condition, The Hong Kong note looks to be about 1967, the Thai ones with the young king about the same period. The Isreali ones are pretty common, or used to be, they are quite an old issue now inflated out of all reason, it looks as if the bundle was collected around the Vietnam war period.

Think up to $10 each, no great value, sorry.

I'd mildly covet the HK, Thai and French notes at a reasonable price. Not rare but they look clean with only a center fold.

    Thanks, AF!

Hey, nothing to be sorry about. I paid less than $150 for the entire contents posted here on page 85 to current. I'm sure once the newer-vintage gold is scraped, it should fetch a few hundred dollars and all these other items once listed/sold will be just added gravy.

If you are interested in the notes, shot me an PM on what you're willing to pay and they're yours. Cool?

I been busy cloiscenserpeach6.jpg cloiscenserpeach1.jpg buying for resale nothing super exciting. Bought this huge t-fret cloisonne peach censer missing a few parts, but still interesting even my 22 year daughter liked it. There are a lot repros in this shape on ebay, but I think this date around 1920 so. Anyone notice IDcloisonne website no longer exists?
