Hello everyone - my apologies but I couldn't figure out what category to ask this under so I chose the board I know most. This is a bowl made of some type of stone. It stands about 2" tall and 5" across the top. There must have been some skill in making it. All the grooves are perfectly aligned. No other decoration. In some spots its so thin the light shines through it. It seems to scratch easily so it might be soapstone. Any help figuring out who or what country would make something like this would be much appreciated. (Admin: Please delete if not appropriate.)

Thank you. It does look like a match. I'll research red alabaster.
