Hello from Chattanooga, Tn

    Hello,

    I've been going to yard sales and flea markets for about 20 years. It was my mother that got me started doing this. I will either buy something to sell it or keep it to replace it with something in my collection. I tend to keep the better stuff. I used to sell at auctions and antique malls, but now I just set up at a highway sale near me once a year. In order to buy more stuff and to keep my collection manageable, selling is a necessity. I consider myself more of a picker than a dealer. I tend to collect millitaria, watches, pottery, knives, ephemera, primitives, and antique bone/ivory items.
    When I'm not picking, I'm teaching middle school science.
