Japan chocolate jug

    The jug is 9 inch tall wit with the lid.

    Photos must be 1 mb or less. You can resize by e-mailing photos to yourself as Medium, then upload the resized photos. Still check box for Full Image.

    Looks like there is the letter T in the flower mark.

    Post 1921 with Japan instead of Nippon.

    Scroll down the page in this link to the heading "Cherry Blossom Marks." There is one there that is similar enough although not exact and has an H inside the flower instead of a T. The company involved was out of business by 1947 - so it would not surprise me if your T company had the same general lifespan.

    Most likely for tea. And 1940's imho...

    Doesn't Beata's mark look kind of fake? Not saying it is but I've never seen it before.

    The mark is odd, but I seriously doubt there would be any point to "faking" this kind of ware. I've seen this look of decoration a number of times and over a long period of time. Never expensive. Never presented as older than it should be.
