Hallmark - which British city?

    I'm sure one of the silver mavens will know but just wanted to mention that the last time I couldn't figure out the British city....It tuned out to be Canadian so keep an open mind.

    AF has always said that if the city is missing, assume London.

    Lower-case serifed 'm' with monarch's head duty mark before 1890.

    The only one I can find which matches, is London.

    If I'm right, then it's 1827. Which means the monarch is George IV.

    It's the ponytail with bow - George III. I got a CR in London and a CR in York. It looks like the M is 1787 regardless of city.

    That's what I was seeing, but my sweet cutie-pie doggie wanted me to pay attention to her rather than my paying any further attention to upside-down R's and C's. :happy:
