This is a little creamier than pure white - my photos are of all over the place, but the second image is probably closest. Underplate is about 6.5" wide and the cover is 4.75" x 2.5" deep or tall.

Marked MADE IN U.S.A. on the bottom. Thanks! and help appreciated, as always :)

    Hi,
I think it is Cremax made by MacBeth-Evans outside of Pittsburgh late 1930s. The lid is called Chinex. The two patterns are often interchangeable and parts are made by the same company which became part of Corning Glass Works in New York

Thanks, Bookatoo, Cherryhill and gregsglass! I like the pie crust motif :)

Would a better dish like this be hard to find? I haven't located one, yet.

Point not yet made...Cremax is a creamy color, Monax is white, opalescent. Both by MacBeth, Evans, both used for several patterns ca. 1930. Same patterns, both colors.

    Thanks, @Cherrhill
Here's how one seller described cups with this pattern and color, similar to this dish:

    Brand:
    Chinex Classic
    Material:
    Cremax
    Main Color:
    Ivory

Brand is pattern? Guess I'm not the only one confused?

From that I would guess Brand to be MacBeth, Evans, pattern to be Classic. but that's a guess.
