    It looks like Dutch Gouda PZH pottery or similar. Somewhere I have a book with many patterns, I'll have a look.

    Didn't find it in my book which is no surprise as there were so many patterns. I did find what I think is the pattern from this very good website. PZH Gouda, Emmy / Emmij c. 1921.

    They did make hanging pots as shown in the book "The World of Gouda Pottery" by Ritvo. This is a different shape and pattern but shows the three holes for chains and mentions that there are no identifying marks on this pot either.

    There are three holes on the OP's bowl also, so it is what SIS has identified, a Gouda hanging bowl.
