These were my grandfathers, he was in WW2 to give you a idea of his age.
He died in 1964. I was given may of his old tools and I found this in that pile.

The top one is for trimming hair and would have a blade added, the bottom one is a straight razor for shaving but needs a lot of work to be used.

I sold a collection of straight razors and all of them had a makers mark on the blade. in this area. Your blade is so rusty, you might not be able to see it.

thanks for the reply. i have the box they each came in also, but they look about as good as the blades. Do you all think i could get anything to amount to selling them?

Vintage straight razors are extremely common. Unless they come in sets, or fancy boxes, or have really incredible scales, or they're really old, most don't command very high prices.

I have three antique razors. Two with ivory scales, and one with bone scales. They're really neat and they shave really well - and one of them is at least 130 years old...but I was still able to pick them up for like, $20, $30 each.

If you're careful, and can sand and polish off the grime on the straight razor, you might get something for it, provided the blade isn't damaged, but don't expect a lot.
