Signature On Piece Of Crystal

    Piece of good quality heavy crystal. Has an impressed mark of what looks like a bear standing on it's hind legs with a crown over it. next to that the numbers 1086 are etched. This measures 4 3/8" tall and is 4 1/8" wide. Thanks

    I believe (in my very limited amateur opinion/knowledge) that the bear with the crown generally indicates Berlin - I'd look for a German maker. It's a beautiful piece!

    Yes, definitely Beethoven. It appears they made a series of these glasses of the great composers.
