    lloyd249 it's not hoarding if it's valuable

you will have to pay to find out how old the paint is , this authenticating stuff is not cheap $4,000, not trying to hurt your feelings, there is just so much fake and reproduced stuff out there i'm suspicious of things that maybe have been artificially age enhanced ...happens all the time .

i have become more aware of the trials of authenticating stuff ... it costs , i have about $10,000 and 5 years into the picasso chair , and slowly getting further with no promise at the end ... so good luck . I'm sure if this is real it may be worth a bundle IDK but things for mexico just are not worth much . could have even been mass produced . With computer and printing technology anything can be printed to look old , sorry that's my opinion , but only an opinion from what i can see , it's not like i have it in my hands to examine or put under my microscope .

first test i would do is put it under a black light, if it glows it has titanium in it so it would be modern . older paint is made with elements iron , lead, sodium, carbon copper. stuff like that

Ok thanks, ;) I am envisioning everyone paying $4,000.00 to find out if the paint on their amate is from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s or 90’s:hilarious:. Seems to me it wouldn’t really matter to them if it only cost them $5.00.

$1,000 per hour for Mr. biro and some are more some are less but all expensive , they have to have very expensive equipment to do it , biro just bought a 250 thousand dollar machine a few yeas ago then retired ... go figure.

lead was brought down to I believe .5% .. i would have to go through my notes from biro, in 1978 from as high as 3.0 %

this is from another picasso , but it is the pretty close to the same chart i got from biro . for $4000 but he was he best i was told lol , but then he wanted another 6 thousand to prove it is ripolin paint , picasso mixed it with other things to make different colors .still doesn't prove he did it . 1939 picasso painting paint.jpg
