    Looks like a great forum. I am new to Antiques, but not new to internet forums.
    We have moved into an old farmhouse built into the 1830s, so I come across some neat stuff, and would like to get into Antiques,
    so I will ask a lot of newby questions.
    The house, as it turns out, was owned by a union doctor that was killed by Morgan's raiders on their romp through the area.

    Hello Fish, and welcome.
    I just read your Union doctor studied medicine at a place called the Fidler Hotel (Fiddler Hotel?). Where I live that would be the name of an Irish pub, a great place to study, to be sure;)!
