Wooden hand made,figural boxes , Scandinavian? Ireland?

    My late 2nd DH gave me these two boxes in the early 80's for my B-day. Are they antique of vintage. No marks on the bottoms, looks like tree branches reamed out.     They look German, from the Erzgebirge region...

    I did find a box with bunnies like mine,my bunny has a missing ear :(

    I also found this and I could kick myself. I had one of these similiar. I had it in a plastic container out doors,the plastic cracked and rain water got in so I tossed it.Oh why oh why????:arghh:
