Anyone know this original signed pencil portrait

Picked this up at a thrift store. It seems to be a colored pencil portrait, signed Verily. Did a little research and it seems she was a teacher in the 70s or so. Wrote a book on portraits as well. I may be wrong though. Thanks!

I don't know that yours is an original, but I agree with the 1970's dating.

Hmm when I open that no picture appears, maybe it's my phone browser but there is a palm print on mine, leading me to believe whoever made this physically drew it, but again I may be wrong. I wish I could see the photo of what you shared with me. Thanks for the response!

But different as in mine doesn't have as much at the bottom as the other does. Maybe line is fine by a student replicating the original?

Maybe you have an original. You should get it checked by an expert.
