:singing::singing::singing::singing::singing::singing::singing: Marie scored! Neiger beads or just 20s Czech? I'd love to run a black light over those and see what happens. The pin is good too - hopefully a lot more than you paid?

I don't recall seeing this tone of turtle before. Was a buck.

Okay I guess I need some education. Is it turtle shell or something else?

Tortoise. Don't ask me how old that is, but Victorian at the newest. Might be Georgian for all I'd know.

I'd think Victorian from the simplicity of the monogram. But -- and a big but -- I could be wrong.

Georgian tortoiseshell snuff box. There's a name for that colour, if my brain remembers.

I have seen some describing it as "blonde tortoiseshell", but I think it should be lighter to have that description.

My most recent find. Probably paid a little too much since it has a nick at the top of the spout. The particular auction I was at had 60+ crocks and jugs but 90% of them had some major condition issue. Despite that prices were strong. I guess people are still bored with the pandemic taking away a lot of other fun activities/hobbies and decided to spend at the auction.

I found some good stuff at a tag sale today. I'm going to wait until I feel like re-scrubbing myself before tackling any of it though.

I know those kind of tag sales. I have a few finds to photograph, but it's too hot now. Not going out until the heat breaks.

    Hi,
I would love to stay indoors but with the heat there is all of that watering the plants to do. In fact if I wasn't so sleepy I would go out now and do it now.

Here in South Jersey we are having our second heat wave of the summer.... for the next 5 days at least. Real feel temps with humidity are going up to 110 degrees. I will be inside organizing, cleaning, reading, and binge-watching something.
