Greek? mark help

    Definitely Greek and you've a 925 as well.

    Second word is something like CHEI?OS.

    Yes, the second word is ΧΕΙΡΩΣ (cheiros, o in this case sounds like in rose), has to do with ΧÉΡI - hand. Probably hand made.

    It looks like someone made up a name for the mark for their listing and a number of other people copied that story. A guy listing a similar in Greece did not know what the mark meant.

    If that whole thing is sterling ...wheee! Score! I suspect the mark is hand-finished or something rather than handmade; I Googled it and handmade doesn't match.

    It depends on what definition you are using... the handles are cast which does match the definition.The main body is several pieces,the "trumpet ends" soldered together can fit the definition.The 2 or more pieces that form the lower part could also fit the definition.

    The photos can't tell you how it made.
