    Welcome cal kelly! I did some quick web searching but couldn't come up with much except sunglasses and drinking glasses. Nothing about a company history. My guess is that H.M is a distributor as opposed to a manufacturer. I'd approximate the date or production as 1950's or 1960's. Boatloads of Japanese china and glassware were imported during that period and the style of your glass would also fit. I would try replacements.com. They may have come across these stems before.
