Small decorative, fine detailed vase - mystery to me.

    Does anyone have any idea what origin and type of pretty vase this is? No marks, gold bottom, and it's 6" in height, the base is 1.25" diameter.

    I'm not sure. Took pics a while ago, and it's stored elsewhere. I thought it was pottery, but it could be metal

    looks like cloisonne to me

    I thought cloisonne too, but not positive!

    @Debora Thanks - it does have some of the same motifs. where did you find this? My pics show nice detail, but the last photo someone enlarged making it look distorted.

    @Mystified....that could be the program I used to enlarge, plus your image wasn't crystal sharp that I used....I do have to be careful when enlarging to usually not go beyond 2X, which is a good reason to ask members to post good sized images (like Debora's!!) in the first place!! Sorry about the potential distortion!!
