I am not sure what the value of (first day cover £5 coin UNC february 2000+6 first day stamps) Is? I searched ebay.com ebay.co.uk and google images and only found the coin without the stamps and envelope.

meaning no disrespect.......I have found that 1st day covers are collected...but not highly collectable .....& 2003...& 2000....are neither old ....or going to draw many ' Antiquers ' attention...

still...they may have some value....

Good luck from me too. That's a good way to learn, buy something and see if you can make any net profit on selling it. If stamps and coins is going to be your thing, you'll want to attend stamp and coin shows and learn from the vendors there. Better, rent a table at the shows and be a vendor yourself, you get more contact with the experienced vendors and learn from them.

There are stamp and coin forums that you'll want to join; a few folks on this forum have a good knowledge of those collectibles but more focused collector forums will be able to help you more.

 

Its just to earn money to fund parts of my acting career but its a huge learning curve and interesting thanks for your support.

 

then i suggest you do what you love......and incorporate that into making some xrta cash.....i dunno...old movie posters....& memorabilia maybe..? eh ?

 

That might be a productive combination. Also I've always thought that some of the best Antiques/collectibles dealers succeeded due to their acting talents.
