Success with "Mystery Tool" ID videos

One day months ago when I returned from a Tool-buying trip, I made 18 short videos as I unloaded mostly-unknown tools and instruments from the truck. Somehow, however, after uploading one to you-tube, I lost the ability to upload videos from my favorite mobile, the IPAD. Same with I-phone, no-go, a fatal "error" during all of hundreds of tries. Yesterday was trying again and pushed the "desktop" button on a you-tube page, taking me to what is, I guess, the older version of account control pages intended for PC's, and that worked immediately, so I uploaded the remaining 17 quickly yesterday. Many tools were ID'd overnight. Here's an example:

I could post links to more and maybe will, but most of these are specialized machinist thingies that most laypersons including myself would just be frustrated trying to decipher.

 

It appears to be parts of a "precision optical measuring instrument" first off because that's what Gaertner makes... second off one of the components in the video is what would appear to be a Optical Comparator Stage V vice which is used in that type of device; here's a similar one:
