I have a 12 pc coffee set that has 6 gold trimmed cups and 6 gold trimmed saucers. The words on the box are possibly korean and the only english word on the box is "saedona." I am trying to find any info about them. I have attached photos and thanks in advance for any info

Can only say that the colors, stamp on the back of saucer all look very 1960s - 70s to me.
We were doing a lot of importing from Japan and Hong Kong at that time

The man who gave them to me said that he brought them back when he was serving in the korean war but that's all that he said. I guess he picked them up as souvenirs to bring back and that they were a mass production item. I wanted to make sure before we used them as every day cups.

Whatever the value, I think they are lovely.

They are indeed. A little small for my coffee but will look nice on my handmade coffee cup rack. I am assuming that they arent diswasher safe though.

Probably best to hand wash. That gold trim will wear off over time if washed in the dishwasher.

The dishwasher will almost certainly blast off the gold detailing.

That's what i was thinking. I think that they will come out of the box and become decorative hangers. Thanks folks
