I recently purchased this anti-British poster, its glued to card which devalues it, I purchased only one of them from the 5 (different artwork each one) because this was so COOL, but so wrong in the same sentence.

Any ideas on the value? anyone seen anything like this? Its a cutting from an old newspaper i am guessing from 1915

bull - aho forza io sono famsos per sfruttare anche i fanciulli, pur di cambiare il sangue in

Bull - aho force I am famsos to exploit even the children, even to change the blood in

    thank you,
    Adam

Interesting that it is written in Italian. Unlike WWII, the Italians were allies in WWI, I assume this was German made for the Italian troops. They should of course have said John Bull. Just Bull misses the point. The child represents the New Year of 1915. The bloodbath had not really got started by then.

    No idea on value though.

I think right off the bat the amount of death was unprecedented, glad we don't have wars like that anymore, I'm also glad this small country doesn't have to play world policeman anymore. Interesting object though.

It looks like it has been cut, the edges are missing, including 'John' and whatever is supposed to come after 'in'.
They didn't know it was going to get worse. I think it was bad enough already, as any war is.

I am sure you are right about the edges, the top of the scythe is also missing and it would account for the missing John.

Although the marketplace value of this is minimal, you should keep it since it is interesting.
