Are you sure those are glass? Some of the vintage Lucite jewelry has that look.

 

Looks new and Chinese to me.

I just saw something similar on a DIY website.

I'm not saying it was the same as this item, but someone had taken a bunch of plastic rings - maybe even bangle bracelets - and looped them all together with cord to make a SCARF HOLDER for her closet.

I thought "how odd!" when I saw it, much as I did when I saw this.

 

Not plastic and don't think lucite either. They ring like glass when tap to each other. Or could they be stone?

 

Looks like a Chinese agate bangle bracelet only smaller,they have been making the bracelets for years.

 

Could be agate or carnelian, or it could be Peking agate or carnelian glass.
The Chinese have been making very good imitation gemstone glass for a long time. Not just pressed cameo glass, but also bangles, and anything else from the Peking glass range. It is not made as fake, but is considered art glass. But a lot ends up being sold as genuine jade, carnelian, etc., often by sellers who just don't know there is such a thing as Peking gemstone glass.

 

Very modern, I've seen them. Agree on Chinese - could be stone, is it cold and stays cold?

 

Well, they are somewhat cold but it's chilly now here so could be glass or stone. There are almost no impurities on the inside so I would think peking glass is quite possible.
