Obviously, not a print of the original photograph but more like a print of an etching made after the original photo. Now I have to find who did the etching.

Or, what are the chances this is original ink pen on canvas after the photograph? Not likely I guess?

 

Not likely, I don't think. The copyright symbol included generally indicates the artist's prints. There is no "rule" about this copyright symbol. At one time, it was thought to include it would make for "ownership" of the original. Nevermind that, as we can see, the original ink graphic was lifted from a photograph to start with!
