I know it's worn but still pretty.

Maker? Age? Name of the pattern?

They're fuchsia flowers. I can't for the life of me remember who that mark is.

    Cheryl,

Godden states that Fell used "F & CO". I hadn't seen your linked backstamp before but the similarity and possibility that the letters are F & Co (not Fell) make me think your first attribution may be correct, Steve

I believe you are right, Cheryl, on Thomas Fell. Some of his backstamps are impressed and some stamped. The stamped ones seem to have a variety of ways the company name is written. Some are "FELL," "T.Fell & Co.," "TF &Co," "F&Co," Anchor marks, etc... I think this stamp has "F&Co."

Here's one of his many stamps with F & Co.

Haven't had any luck in IDing the pattern name. Godden, p. 245, Says Fell used impressed marks from 1817-30. Also says the "addition of '& Co,' c1830-1890." Marks shown are FELL, F anchor, Fell & Co entwined anchor, F. & Co, T.F. & Co., and T. Fell & Co.

Fell & Co apparently closed in the mid-1890's.
I'm assuming this plate is from around 1870-1895. I have an impression that these kinds of bigger plant-related patterns were common in transferware towards the end of the century, whereas earlier pieces had landscapes and smaller, less (or obviously not at all) art nouveau -influenced patterns. Is that correct or just an assumption?

It is Fell & Co! I looked at the plate in better lighting and noticed there's also the impressed Fell & Co -anchor mark.
I didn't notice it first because of the stained crazing of the glaze.
