Used to be the thrift store stocked all day

Since reopening it's only done at night

So the new deals are only there for a few minutes at opening

Slept in and missed opening this morn

Sometimes as soon as you begin to lift you just put back as it's too heavy to be sterling mex 003.JPG

I think the maker appears to be Juvento Reyes

Last week's finds from 2nd Ave were these three belts ... (left) Th0mas Singer (Navajo), (center) L0mawywesa/Michael Kab0tie (Hopi) this one has far more detail in the dark areas than shows in this crummy pic., (right) not sure ... haven't identified mark online - may have to start a thread for help. Not yet polished.

I am soooo bored. I have not been out because of the heat and humidity. There is an upcoming estate sale I would like to attend, but they don't give out any numbers, you just line up and wait in the heat to get in.....

    Some stuff.

Plate of sterling 1. I bought a junk jar of jewelry in a local antique mall for $5. There were a ton of costume earring in it, and it had the Zuni petit point triangular earrings in it as well as the circular Native American earrings above the black Native American brooch. The concho? earrings were a yard sale find, as well as the crucifix. The little modern square blue and pink earrings were also in the junk jar.
    Sterling Plate July 2020 (640x466).jpg
Plate of sterling 2. The onyx earring are Bennie Ration, the turquoise ring is marked Israel, 925, Opulenta. is there such a thing as israeli turquoise, or would this be the Solomon? stone from Israel? Screwbacks are 14k. Plate Sterling July 2 (640x431).jpg
Plate of costume. Rosary is gutta percha.
    Plate July 1 (640x621).jpg
Plate of pearls that had clasps removed. One freshwater pearl necklace with a matching two-strand bracelet, the rest 5 strands of rice pearls all the same length, one bracelet with a clasp that was a necklace on a doll I picked up for a dollar.

@cxgirl - Sets of golf clubs usually do not come with a 1 iron. As komokwa said above they are notoriously very difficult to hit a good shot.
