Watercolors Signed Martin

    Picked up 2 watercolors by the same artist. name looks like Martin. Have been looking at Askart...would anyone know if this is a first or last name?

    Thanks Debora and Judy...I googled images and a site with just his work came up...looks pretty similar.

    You could call the format "entre fenetre". It means "between windows" and refers to tall, narrow pictures that were displayed in awkward, narrow spaces.

    Well, I took one of these out of the frame. They are watercolors...BUT whoever framed them had the painting glued to the backing. :bigtears:
