    Dear all,

a friend of mine has a necklace of some kind of natural beads (some kind of nut?). The beads are quite big, approximately 1in/2-2,5cm in diameter.

Has anyone an idea maybe? 70B8984D-16ED-467A-81D2-957D1A88DE7A.jpeg CCD2E837-7278-471C-8C7F-CDD2962A3687.jpeg 6572ECD6-757A-4FC4-A50E-E27B86B81C31.jpeg

No, they are not Tagua nuts.

my friend was told that they are amber. However the Baltic amber looks totally different.

via Google I have just found Morrocan amber, could it be this?

    Does it fluoresce under UV?.

They don't look like amber to me, copal makes more sense with all those cracks. Copal also fluoresces, so you could try UV light on it. A humble UV flashlight will do.:)
