Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

You could try asking them... they might know some Arabic if they have lived in that part of the world. I wonder if the mark is clear enough to read or not.

I just organized the perfumes I have to sell. Took about an hour. I pick up a lot of vintage/discontinued fragrances, you'd be surprised what sells, even discontinued Avon. I always try to find vintage Guerlain! Love the figurines. I really do have more stuff than jewelry to show, I just have to get the energy to photograph it to sell it.......the finding and buying is SO much more fun!

Do you know where I might find thread in adapters to use common sized bulbs on Czech perfumes? I tried Paradise & Co and came up empty.

Wonderful finds, everyone! Got these last week. when it rains it pours (Old Paris). Thanks to Don (skeezix) for ID'ing my spill vases. I'd never handled any old Paris before and then what do you know? I find two more lots of it at a sale. The first is a pair of gilded urns. A pair that is similar sold for around $3000 at auction but mine are damaged.

And another pair, 14" tall in very good condition.

A pair of Japanese bowls, Meiji/Teisho period, by Imura Hikojiro, called "Yokohama" ware:

Lots of nice finds for everyone this week.
    I like that piece trip!
Marko that is one heck of pearl!
Wow on the boxes with jewels Sharona, looks like you got some goodies. In your second photo, what is the pin(?) with the Aladdin lamp & W on it? Do you sell the boxes on ebay?
Moon those are some nice pieces! I like the gilded urns. Are they marked on the bottom? I'll have to look up Old Paris.
I found some pieces with silver that was black, still working at cleaning them up but I can see the hallmarks now. Little open salt with pepper made of agate, silver-plated dance card, still has the little pencil and a St John Ambulance Brigade first aid competition medal from 1937.
