    Hi, UKsweetheart, and welcome! Having a "liking for 'old stuff'" is more than enough for you to feel welcome here.

    I'm in the US, but my daughter did both her undergrad & grad school at York University, so I've spent a fair amount of time in Yorkshire. I love it there!

    I`m in Cottingham but hail from the Holderness area where I believe you are located.

    No, never went to Southy as I'm originally from Barton but hubby and daughter went there :)

    Some of my grandkids attended SH and some still do.
    I was there from 1969 to 1972.

    Welcome UKsweetheart, I was born in Chatham but we relocated to Margate, Kent when I was a baby. I grew up there and went to school at King Ethelberts Senior Secondary until the age of 14yrs. when we came to Canada. I think you will enjoy it here, great friendly folk and loads of antique information .. Joy.
