Is there a name for a fraternity item like this and/or is something missing? 1 1/2 inches from top loop to bottom extension.

(Not gold and I know it looks like something is written on the top loop, but it is just scuffing.)

    Thanks.

Would have come back from the war, enrolled on the G.I. bill and pledged.
