Hi everyone this is my very first post
We have a pair of unusual majolica pedestals
The pedestals are not marked and we've been trying to place a value on them. The problem is we can't find anything to compare them to and we have someone interested in buying them. Does this style look familiar to anyone? Any idea who might have produced them?

The person we got these pedestals from insists that the jardinieres match the pedestals as a set but I don't really think that's true...Any thoughts?

They would have had matching jardinieres. Do they fit properly on the pedestals?

Even if unmarked, photos of the bases please. Thematically, they don't entirely match, although they go together well enough. You've the God Pan and gryphons on the bowl and sea serpents on the pedestals. mid to late 19th, could be English. Rather nice.

I don't think they match, either.

These are nice pedestals and jardiniers. I think they might be from Austria or England, perhaps mid to late 19 century. It would be nice to see photos of the bases to make an assessment on the potential value of these beautiful pieces. They are certainly unique and look big and heavy. Please indicate size and if possible weight.

They fit on top but not exactly like a puzzle. So... That may indicate they are mismatched?

I think the mark on the pedestal might be W.S & S. for Wilhelm Schiller & Son.

The maker was W.S. & S. This mark is the same on both with a different number.
