Picked this up today and spent about two hours fixing it. Careful application of heat, a few rounds in the ultrasonic cleaner, and I was able to carefully unscrew it. Then I pulled it apart, resacced it, popped it back together and took it for a scribble.

It's a Wahl Eversharp flattop from the 1920s. This style of flat-topped, cylindrical fountain pen, made of brass with gilt exteriors, with decorative patterning on the barrels and caps, were extremely popular in the 20s and were commonly made by W-E. I have three or four others by the same company in a similar style.

Thanks! I nearly broke it in half when I was disassembling it. I didn't realise it UNSCREWED rather than pulled out. Fortunately I didn't damage anything, and it's now working great :)
